On Recent Events in the Beer Industry

Fermenta’s membership is the foundation of what we are. We are a united group, passionate about craft beverages and food. Passionate about community, learning, creativity, collaboration, service, and inclusivity. 

We fell in love with craft beverages and food, because of these elements. Hence, the recent reports of sexism, harassment, and racism in the industry across the world have been heartbreaking. These are not new issues or happenings, for women especially, and it hurts that anyone would feel unwelcome or mistreated in an industry that stands on the values of hospitality, friendship, and collaboration. 

Fermenta is a group which supports women in all of their endeavors. We are not experts in healing or legal recourse. Our focus is to encourage education and camaraderie. However, if you are looking for resources, guidance, or aid, we recommend looking to the following organizations’s links:
